The captain for the day was Jemma. We started very well with pressure from the off. Leanne pushed the ball towards the right side of the box and shoots to get us going. Reading 1-0.

Straight away we press and win a corner. After a cracking corner from Nicole the ball lands on the head of Clara. Reading 2-0.

 Reading well on top and Nicole wins another corner. Good pressure from Eloise who opens a chance for Leanne and the keeper saves well. Clara flicks onto Nicole who doesn’t connect properly and keeper picks up. Jae plays a great ball out of defence and finds Nicole who passes to Leanne down the wing. Leanne passes back to Nicole who tucks the ball away. Reading 3-0.

Leanne gains possession and plays in Livvie who shoots over. Livvie picks up a knee injury after a tackle and comes off for a rest. Leanne goes central and both Leah and April make their debut’s for Reading. Sophie plays a long ball through to Nicole who lobs the keeper and passes into the net. Reading 4-0.

Good work by Jemma who plays in Nicole and keeper saves. Good throw in from Sophie that gives Clara an opportunity but shoots wide. Long kick from Morgan finds April who beats 2 players and ball goes out for goal kick. Nicole takes corner to Sophie who shoots and keeper saves. Strong play at the back from Jae who wins 2 tackles and plays the ball up field to Nicole whose shot flies into the net. Reading 5-0. Another hat-trick for Nicole well done.   

Leah tracks well in defence breaking up the opposition attack. Another corner is won and Jemma shoots and ball falls to Nicole who does not miss from there. Reading 6-0.

Jae takes the goal kick and Nicole beats 2 defenders to round the keeper. Reading 7-0.

Nicole’s corner hits the crossbar. Morgan kicks ball to Nicole who finishes again for her sixth goal of the game. Reading 8-0. With halt time looming Nicole finishes a blistering half to make it Reading 9-0.

Good work by April and Livvie who set up Eloise for a simple tap in. Reading 10-0. Through ball to Eloise who runs and shoots to hit the post and following was Livvie to slot home. Reading 11-0. Long ball from Sophie finds Eloise whose shot was blocked and Jae follows up to score. Reading 12-0. Aril finds Eloise who shoots wide. Long ball from Leanne finds Livvie who calmly runs with the ball to make it Reading 13-0. Short Eloise corner who picks out Leanne who scores from long range. Reading 14-0. Long ball from Leanne to April who shoots and ball trickles wide. Pass from Nicole to Eloise who calmly slots home another. Reading 15-0. Like the first half Nicole corner finds head of Clara who scores no problem. Reading 16-0. April was patient all day and deserved her goal from a Nicole corner. Player of the match today produced a magnificent seven, Nicole. Deadly as usual and i would not be surprised if that was a league record at that age group. Well done also to Leah and April for excellent debut’s. Thanks to Jemma for a captains performance on the left with her quick turns that troubled the Wey valley defence all game.
