Venue: Chobham Road Recreation Ground

The captain for the day was Leah. The game was played on a full size 11 aside pitch.

Eloise breaks up the first Frimley attack and gives away a corner. Kick goes across the face of the goal. Eloise plays the ball to Jemma who links up well with Livvie who wins a throw in deep in the Frimley half. Great ball from Jae who finds Livvie, turns the defender to cross for Clara. Shot goes straight at the keeper. Jemma and April combine for Clara whose shot was deflected for a corner. Great block and tackle by Leah who sets up another attack. Long ball by Jae finds Livvie who shoots and the keeper makes a good save. Good work by April on right wing wins a thrown in. Frimley break and forward gets in front of Eloise and then commits foul on the edge of the box. An ill Morgan makes a fine save from a powerful free kick.

April makes a last ditch tackle to deny a shooting chance. Good work by Jae and livvie who find Jemma and shoots with left foot into the top left corner of the goal. Reading 1-0    

Nicole comes on for injured Leah. Morgan closes forward down and saves a one on one chance. Jemma and Livvie combine to set up Jae who shoots wide of the post. Sophie comes on for Jemma and Hannah goes right midfield to allow Nicole to push upfront. Leanne clears the ball which falls into the midfield area and Frimley defender shoots and scores from 25yards out. Reading 1 Frimley 1.

Frimley push on again and Jae back passes to Morgan who picks up. Free kick about 10 yards from the goal was hit with venom and Morgan managed to push it away. Ball is scrambled and eventually cleared. Frimley having a good spell and deserve more from the game. Sophie makes a block and long ball finds Nicole who turns and uses pace to beat two players and score. Reading 2-1.

Good ball by Livvie who finds Leanne on the edge of box and shoots into the corner to make it Reading 3-1. 

More good work by Leanne down the right and cross is picked up by keeper. Another cross from Leanne finds Jemma whose shot is saved by the keeper. Eloise makes a good tackle at the back to concede a corner. April plays in Leanne who crosses for Nicole who shoots wide. Sophie back tracks to give away a throw in. Eloise makes another interception to concede another corner. Hannah works hard to chase the ball and make the defenders life difficult.

Lovely ball by Jemma who sends Nicole through to calmly make it Reading 4-1.

Frimley win goal kick from Clara and run through to score.  Reading 4 Frimley 2.

Leah comes back on to replace April. Jae goes upfront for Hannah. Great work by Nicole who sends Jae away although is tackled very well by Frimley defence. Loose ball falls to Livvie and the shot is saved by the keeper. Livvy beats a player and shoots wide. Nicole also shoots wide. Game opening up and yet again we are penalised for a back pass. Frimley rifle to ball into the net to make it Frimley 3 Reading 4. Last 5 minutes very tense but a deserved win.

Player of the match goes to Jemma for a sublime strike to give us the lead but more for her trickery and added width throughout the game. Well played Jem.
